Holualoa Village recently lost one of our living treasures, Sam Rosen of Holualoa Ukulele Gallery. He was an integral part of the community for over four decades.

Sam wore many hats, from his earlier days as a master goldsmith, his time spent as a gallery manager and as President of Holualoa Village Association (predecessor of today's HVO), and his many years as an amazing ukulele craftsman and mentor to young and old. He left a lasting mark in Holualoa, and will be deeply missed by those who walk in his footsteps.
